I love love love love shea butter, but we have never had a Melt & Pour Shea Butter because of the crystalization problems shea butter has when it is reheated. Finally we are launching two new Melt & Pour Shea Balms that will not crystalize. Imagine me doing the happy dance because that is what I am doing right now.
We formulated two different Shea Butter Balms to meet the varying needs of our customers. The Melt & Pour Shea Butter Balm is very soft and the Melt & Pour Shea Butter Hard Balm much stiffer. The soft balm could be used as a nipple butter, cuticle butter, soft lip balm in a pot or body balm. The hard version would make a good ointment, salve, or balm base. I recommend getting samples of both and picking the one that works best for you.
