Along with my husband and a crew of very talented people, we run Essential Wholesale, where we specialize in the natural and organic products industry.

As a family of businesses and real people, we share a passion for living an organic lifestyle, and for empowering others to do the same. We also like to provide glimpses into our lives as family members and entrepreneurs.

Now, like I said, I do a lot of stuff, so for anyone reading this and considering adding me as a resource or if you need input or comments for your magazine, television or radio show, this stuff is for you!

I am the Vice President, Chief Formulator, ARC Registered Aromatherapist and Co-Founder of Essential Wholesale and Essential Labs. I have lived around the world, from the US, to Japan, Ireland, Germany and lots of places in between. I received a Bachelor's degre from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.

I use all of these experiences and certifications to produce the products we sell, plus provide consulting services to other entrepreneurs.

My husband, Dennis, and I have 3 children. We started making aromatherapy products in our kitchen back in 1998 when our son had a stubborn case of ring worm. After trying every over-the-counter ointment and even some prescriptions, I finally looked into the natural way of healing with essential oils.

The results were outstanding and healing took place quickly. I was so fascinated that I spent the next several years researching natural cosmetic formulating, while studying to becoming a certified Aromatherapist.

My goal has always been to stay true to a natural theme and to utilize ingredients that are wholly beneficial to everyone and the environment.

Today, I am the go-to-specialist for formulating and information regarding natural, organic and pure cosmetics. I formulate everything from household products, skin care products, and hair products to mineral makeup and everything in between.

Many of the products I formulated have won awards. Essential Wholesale was honored to be included the INC 5000 for 2007.

I write articles for the Indie Business Magazine, HK Magazine Online and Total Mom. I has been a guest on Organic Beauty Radio, Indie Business Radio, KPDQ Northwest Showcase, Good Day Oregon, 104.1 The Fish and Podcast From the Heart. I have been a speaker at the conferences for the Indie Beauty Network and the Handcrafted Soap Maker's Guild.

I teach topic specific aromatherapy classes, including "Day to Day Aromatherapy" and "The Biblical Roots of Aromatherapy".

EssentialU was launched in order to further our corporate goals of empowering people with knowledge about cosmetics and aromatherapy. Essential U is filled with free information and in 2008, will proudly announce the first of many certificate programs for people with a passion to learn in early 2008.
